Forecast Weather Conditions:

  • Batanes and Babuyan Islands: Residents can expect cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line. These conditions may lead to possible flash floods or landslides, especially during periods of moderate to heavy rainfall.
  • Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon: The Easterlies bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to these areas. There is a potential for flash floods or landslides resulting from moderate to occasionally heavy rains.
  • Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sarangani, and Surigao del Sur: Influenced by the ITCZ, these regions will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Residents should remain vigilant for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rainfall.
  • The rest of Mindanao: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected, also due to the ITCZ. Severe thunderstorms may cause flash floods or landslides in certain areas.
  • Metro Manila and the rest of the country: The Easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. While these conditions are generally mild, severe thunderstorms could lead to flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions:

  • Northern Luzon: Moderate to strong winds from the southeast to the northeast will prevail, resulting in moderate to rough coastal waters with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2.8 meters. Mariners and coastal communities should exercise caution due to these conditions.
  • The rest of the country: Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast are expected, leading to slight to moderate coastal waters with wave heights between 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
