Forecast Weather Conditions

  • Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)
Expect cloudy skies and rains due to the northeast monsoon. Moderate heavy rains may lead to flash floods or landslides in vulnerable areas.
  • Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Quezon, and Aurora
These areas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the Shear Line. Residents are advised to prepare for possible floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
  • Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected, brought about by the ITCZ. Communities should be vigilant against flash floods or landslides, particularly in areas prone to heavy rainfall.
  • Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected due to the Northeast Monsoon. These conditions are not expected to have significant impacts.
  • Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon
Localized thunderstorms will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. While generally fair, severe thunderstorms could trigger flash floods or landslides in affected areas.
  • The rest of Visayas and Mindanao
The ITCZ will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with the potential for flash floods or landslides during severe weather events.

Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

  • Northern and Central Luzon
Strong northeasterly winds will create rough coastal waters with waves reaching 2.8 to 4.0 meters.
  • Eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas
Moderate to strong east-northeast winds will cause moderate to rough seas with waves of 2.5 to 3.5 meters.
  • Rest of the country
Light to moderate winds from the east-northeast will result in slight to moderate seas with wave heights of 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
