As of 3:00 AM today, the trough of Severe Tropical Storm (STS) Bebinca continues to affect the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas. Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon influences weather patterns in Mindanao, Southern Luzon, and Visayas. Severe Tropical Storm Bebinca, located 1,975 km east of Central Luzon (16.2°N, 140.1°E), carries maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h and gusts up to 115 km/h, moving northward at 20 km/h. While outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), its effects are already felt in the region.

  • The rest of MIMAROPA and CALABARZON: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected, brought by the Southwest Monsoon. Severe thunderstorms could result in flash floods or landslides.
  • Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon: Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers. There is a risk of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
