The Low-Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored by PAGASA was located 305 km west of Coron, Palawan (12.2°N, 117.4°E). According to the latest data, this LPA is unlikely to develop into a tropical depression and may dissipate within the next 12 hours. Additionally, a tropical depression located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) remains far from entering the country. This tropical depression was spotted 2,650 km east-northeast of extreme northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and gusts reaching up to 70 km/h, moving northward at 15 km/h.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected due to easterlies. Residents in these areas are advised to be alert for possible flash floods or landslides, as moderate to heavy rains may occur.

These regions will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, also due to the influence of easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may happen during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country:
The rest of the Philippines, including the capital region, can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, brought about by localized thunderstorms. While the rains are expected to be isolated, severe thunderstorms could still cause flash floods or landslides in affected areas.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions

Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon:
Winds will be light to moderate from the northeast to east, with slight to moderate coastal waters ranging from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.

Visayas and Mindanao:
Winds will come from the south to southwest at light to moderate speeds, with coastal waters also slightly moderate.

The rest of Luzon:
Expect light to moderate winds from the southwest to south, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
