Jay Sonza slammed Bimby and the media in his recent Facebook post
Veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza is known for his fearless expression of his opinion especially on his Facebook account.
Previously, he revealed his opinion regarding the issue between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Rappler.
He enumerated the entities that feel very happy on the downfall of the social news website and who must be blamed about it, mentioned in a previous report.
In his recent post, the main topic of his controversial tirade is the situation of the Philippine media now. However, he also slammed Bimby, the second son of social media influencer Kris Aquino with former partner James Yap.
The former news anchor stated on his post that, presently, the media is giving more importance to irrelevant issues in the society rather than focusing in the news that matters to all the citizens.
He called the son of Kris as “baklaing si Bimby”. Sonza iterated that minute details about his life are being magnified by the media to the point that it is on the headlines of the news in radio and television stations.
The veteran journalist also said that important issues like the news about the Mayon volcano eruption and the increasing casualties due to Dengvaxia had no follow up reports.
He even narrated the “four Ws and one H”, the foundations in reporting news.
