Prominent actress Jean Garcia exposed that Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards experienced bullying in show business in the past.
Alden is now considered as a box-office king for his recent movie Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo. Before the said hit movie, the actor-host is already engraving his name in the Philippine entertainment industry. He is regularly seen in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga and Sunday PinaSaya.

However, the road to stardom for Alden is not easy also just like many of the well-known celebrities now. He also went through a lot of auditions and struggles, especially those who came people who questioned his right to be in showbiz.
Based on the article from Bandera, Alden’s co-star Jean Garcia in the new Kapuso series The Gift exposed something about this. The prominent actress said that there were several times that she had to defend the Pambansang Bae from other people.
Jean was asked to elaborate about this. “Siyempre, hindi ko naman puwedeng sabihin! Basta, every time na kunwari merong mga taong kunwari magmamaliit sa kanya o mag-aano, kakampi ako ng kapatid kong ‘yan. Promise!” the actress shared. She added that she had to do that because Alden is known for being so humble and meek. Jean said, “So, pag merong, sometimes na binu-buly-bully siya, so siyempre ako yung kakampi niya.”
The actress also scrutinized the act of bullying and stressed out that this will never be right. However, Jean Garcia also pointed out the positive outcome of Alden Richard’s career. “At tingnan n’yo naman ngayon, very successful at very blessed si Alden, pero lahat naman ‘yan, he deserves it,” she said, based on the article.
