Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia’s Wedding Date Confirmed
BILLY CRAWFORD, COLEEN GARCIA – Netizens have been anticipating for Pilipinas Got Talent host Billy Crawford and fiancee Coleen Garcia’s wedding as soon as they released their Ethiopian-themed prenup shots earlier this year.
In a previous report, Garcia revealed some details regarding the upcoming wedding but the couple had been tight-lipped about the exact date.
Based on an article from Rappler, during the live telecast of Pilipinas Got Talent on April 15, co-host Tony Gonzaga confirmed the date as she sends her best wishes to the pair.
“Nais rin naming i-congratulate at sasamahan na rin natin ng best wishes dahil sa darating na Biyernes na po ang inaabangang kasal ni Billy and Coleen. We celebrate your life and your union,” she said.
Crawford then expressed his appreciation to everyone who gave their love to him and his soon-to-be bride while expressing his excitement for his forthcoming wedding. He said that he said ready for the new journey that awaits ahead of him.
According to the report, Crawford and Garcia threw a Nautical-themed Despedida de Soltera on Saturday, a traditional Filipino tradition to formally bid farewell to single life.
The two celebrated the party with the presence of their families and friends. Making it more special was the arrival of Billy’s parents whom he had not seen in 4 years.
When asked about the recent despedida’s theme, Coleen said that they decided to settle on a nautical ambiance as anchors hold a special place in her heart.
“My personal symbol is really an anchor because it really symbolizes strength and stability. I had it tattooed on my back, tapos ginaya ako ni Billy (Billy did the same). So we got the same tattoo on the same part. So now it’s kind of like strength and stability together as a unit,” she explained.
Garcia also revealed that the wedding preparations are all set except for the adjustments on the guest list.
The couple will allegedly hold a beach wedding with actress Ria Atayde as the bride’s Maid-of-Honor.
