In the episode which aired on Sunday, May 22, 2016, the 29-year-old actress who is now being dubbed as “Hugot Queen” cried as she recalls her break up with actor John Lloyd Cruz.

“Nakita ko ‘yung sarili ko na para bang sobra kong down. Kasi hindi ako nag-o-open up sa kaibigan ko, sa pamilya ko. So nung nakita ko ‘yung sarili ko na ganun, parang ‘Huy girl, tama na. Nakakaawa ka na. Down na down ka na. Bangon.’”
Angelica Panganiban admitted that she has not fully recovered from her breakup with John Lloyd Cruz.
The “Banana Sundae” co-star shared that she’s deliberately dodging places that have been remarkable for them.
Angelica Panganiban said in jest that the next time she will have boyfriend, she will make sure that he should not be a popular star. She jokingly added that she almost left the Kapamilya Network due to failed relationship.
Angelica Panganiban confessed that she still has communication with John Lloyd Cruz. She shared that she met him while having a vacation in Hong Kong.
Asked what she learned after series of failed relationships particularly her break up with the Box Office King after a four-year romance, she said having a positive outlook in life is the best lesson she learned.
