Anne Calls Out To Sotto, Pacquiao, Villanueva About LGBTQ Anti-Discrimination Bill

Anne Curtis stands for her friends in LGBTQ community as she called out to Senators who oppose the Anti-Discrimination Bill

‘Buy Bust’ actress Anne Curtis calls out the attention of Senators Tito Sotto, Manny Pacquiao and Joel Villanueva regarding the LGBTQ Anti-Discrimination Bill.

The three mentioned lawmakers are known to be against the proposed bill and they are vocal about it.

Through Anne’s Instagram Story on July 24, she expressed her message to the Senators who are not supporting the bill.

She shared a short information about SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) Equality Bill, also known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill.

According to the post of the ‘It’s Showtime’ host, the said bill has already been approved at the lower house.

After that process, the next step is for it to be included in the Senate’s agenda. However, since it is a fact that there are three Senators who are opposing it, this might not push through.

Based on the article published in PEP, Anne even tagged the IG accounts of Senators Sotto, Pacquiao and Villanueva.

“I’m sure you have friends or members of your own team that are part of the LGBTQIA community that love and support you. Now is the time to stand with them and give back that same love!” Anne said to them.

Aside from the Kapamilya actress, there are also other celebrities who showed their support for the LGBTQ Anti-Discrimination Bill.

Based on the report, Anti-Discrimination Bill also aims to give the members of LGBTQ community access to health services, employment and education.
