Who will reign on the Sunday night timeslot between Vice Ganda and Boobay & Tekla?
The late night talk show of Vice Ganda, Gandang Gabi Vice, has been airing on ABS-CBN for almost 8 years now.
GGV started back in 2011 and since viewers embraced the format of the show with all its humor and entertaining segments, it reigned on its timeslot.
ABS-CBN’s rival network, GMA 7, features its SNBO or Sunday Night Box Office against Vice’s talk show.
The Kapuso network had movies and concerts on the said timeslot.

However, this is about to change as a new show is set to showcase the comedic talents of Boobay and Tekla.
Starting January 27, The Boobay and Tekla Show promises to give humor and entertainment.
Obviously, it is intended to be the rival show of Vice’s GGV.
Based on the report published on the entertainment section of Abante, the show of Kapuso comedians is so promising as it recently released the teaser.
It was also said that it could be a threat to the Kapamilya late night talk show of Vice Ganda.
This is because of the fact that Boobay and Tekla also have the natural ability to make people laugh.

“Hindi na po ‘yon ang inisip namin. Oo nga, hindi talaga maiwasan, siya talaga ang makakatapat namin. Mabigat ang pader na babanggain namin, pero sabi ko nga, basta kami nandito lang para gawing masaya ang Sunday night niyo. Patatawanin lang namin kayo.At sa rami naman ng mga tao ngayon, lahat may chance, lahat may pagkakataon na magpatawa,” Boobay shared.
“Basta ang maipapangako lang namin sa mga manonood, gagawin namin ni Boobay ang lahat para makapagbigay ng kaligayahan sa inyo. Yung kumpetisyon nandiyan na ‘yan, at basta kami, ibubuhos namin ang mga oras namin para makapagpasaya pa sa lahat,” Tekla added.
