Willie Revillame has this statement of ‘Wowowin’ viewers
Kapuso game show host Willie Revillame said to Wowowin viewers, “hindi po ako mayor”, due to this reason.
The game show of the comedian-host has been known to be generous in giving prizes to contestants, as well as the members of the audience.
Despite the past and recent accident that occurred during the show, people are still fond of watching it. Many people also aspire to join the games and win the big prizes.
Last January 22, an accident happened during taping which resulted in the death of one of the members of the audience. The other one got injured.

Prior to this, when Willie’s show was still in ABS-CBN titled Wowowee, the show also encountered mishap when a stampede happened during the anniversary celebration.
As the father of the show, the comedian-host showed his concern to all the avid fans.
His recent statement about the new rule in Wowowin came out from his concern to the people.
Willie Revillame announced that those between 17-70 years will have the chance to enter the studio.

He does not want kids and elderly fans to suffer difficulty just to watch the show.
“Meron lang po kaming announcement, yung mga manonood dito sa show, huwag niyo na po isama ang mga bata. Yung may mga karamdaman, lolo, lola, huwag na po kayo mag-aksaya ng panahon, babawal na po namin ‘yan. Ayaw po namin ng ganyan,” he said, based on PEP’s report.
He also called out to the game contestants.
“Itong programa na ito ay nagbibigay ng saya but it’s also a game show. Game of chance. Kung manalo kayo, mabuti. Pero huwag po kayo pipila diyan at hihingi sa amin ng pera pampa-opera, pampalibing,” Willie said.
Then he stated, “Hindi po ako mayor. Hindi po ako nasa politika. Ako po ay nandito para magpasaya at wala pong kinikilingan. Yung nangangailangan, tutulungan at ang mga nanloloko, babalewalain.”
