This is the reason why the Barretto scandal is likened to a series of earthquakes
The Barretto scandal, still lingering on social media after a few weeks, is likened to a series of earthquakes due to this reason.
Netizens and the online community got the juiciest scoop about the Barretto sisters after a series of videos and photos taken from their father’s wake surfaces on social media. That became a triggering point of Gretchen, Marjorie, and Claudine to burst out the longstanding grudge they had been against each other.
It is known among showbiz fans that Greta and Clau reconciled early this year. However, they are not still in good terms with Marj and the real-life saga of the Barrettos continues. According to entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin, the Barretto scandal is like a series of earthquakes, people can still feel the aftershock.

Spectators of this drama thought that the issue between the celebrity sisters already subsided. However, Greta released a video on her Instagram account showing that Marjorie wanted to “sapak” someone who she called “Inday”. “Ayaw talaga nilang lubayan si Marj, araw-araw ay meron silang pasabog, nakakalungkot ang ganu’n para sa isang pamilya,” Fermin stated in her article.

With this, the Barretto sisters once again caught the attention of the online community. As Marj was trying to defend her side, she challenged Clau to face her in court. The latter accused her older sister of hitting their mother last year.
Fermin added in her article that her friend stated this regarding the Barretto scandal: “Kagagandang babae, sabi nga ng kaibigan naming propesor, pero bakit ganito ang mga ugali? Para bang hindi isang sinapupunan lang ang kanilang pinanggalingan, parang hindi sila magkakadugo, dahil sa pag-aaway na ipinagbabanduhan pa nila sa buong mundo.”
