The JaBoom twins rose to fame through their ‘Rejoice’ shampoo commercial back in 2004.
‘Sunod Sa Galaw’, the jingle of their TV advertisement helped a lot in their popularity as it was a catchy song.
After that commercial, Jaja or Maria Katrina Gonzales and Boomboom or Maria Kristine Gonzales ventured into hosting.
They became a part of the defunct noontime show in the Kapamilya network ‘Magandang Tanghali Bayan’.
The JaBoom twins also tried acting through the afternoon sitcom ‘Maid in Heaven’.
After taking a quick break from show business, the twins transferred to GMA through the sitcom ‘Laugh to Laugh’ as Lotlot and Letlet.
Then, they played the role of Luntian and Violeta in the third installment of telefantasya ‘Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas’.
In the year 2009, Jaja returned to ABS-CBN through Anne Curtis’ series ‘The Wedding’ while Boomboom did hosting and supporting roles.
More than a decade passed, where are the JaBoom twins now?
Boomboom got married to Parañaque City Councilor Juvan Esplana and they are blessed with 3 adorable children.
From the glitz and glamour of show business, Boomboom extend her world to politics as support to her husband.
As a wife of a public servant, she is also now exposed to the nature of her husband’s duties in the government.
Jaja is also happily married now. She tied the knot with Juan Carlos Cristi Bernabe in 2014.
The couple is blessed with two kids.
