Kapuso Manny Pacquiao admits watching ‘It’s Showtime’ everyday
Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao admitted that he watches Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ despite the fact the he is a Kapuso.
The boxer-turned-Senator has a show in GMA 7 but he and wife Jinkee Pacquiao are fans of the noontime show in ABS-CBN.
Based on the article published in Abante, the boxing champ visited ‘It’s Showtime’ just recently.
This is after he won as the WBE welterweight champion against Lucas Matthysse.
According to entertainment columnist Dondon Sermino who wrote the article, though Pacman is a Kapuso, his visit in the Kapamilya network created a louder noise.
He was given a red-carpet welcome and executives from ABS-CBN were all smiles to him.
It was also said that Manny can’t hide his “pusong Kapamilya” as he revealed that they are watching the rival show of ‘Eat Bulaga’ everyday.
The Pinoy boxer also admitted that his favorite host is no other than Vice Ganda.
During the guesting of Manny, it can be seen that he had a good time with the Kapamilya noontime show hosts.
Pacman even said that he hopes to be invited again once all the hosts of ‘It’s Showtime’ are present.
Comedian Ryan Bang asked Manny to be part of his production number for the next “Magpasikat” as a celebration of their anniversary this year.
This is something that fans will look forward to, if the Senator will grant the request of Ryan.
Meanwhile, during his fight with Matthyse, boxing fans preferred to watch it on ABS-CBN instead on GMA.
Based on the article, data from Kantar Media stated that ABS-CBN’s viewership was 20.4 percent while GMA got 18.2 percent.
Aside from Filipino boxing enthusiasts, the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, which Manny founded, also showed tremendous support for him.
