An article stated that Vice Ganda is just trying to look and sound humble during interviews but he is really a “humblebrag”.
Kapamilya comedian and host Vice Ganda allegedly is just trying to look humble during interviews.
It is known to many that Vice had a lowly beginning in show business. He started in comedy bars as a stand up comedian and he did his best to pave his way to stardom.
Throughout his years in the industry, he was able to achieve the celebrity status that he has now.
On the other hand, based on the article published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Vice is just faking it when he talks about humility.
He was even likened to Diether Ocampo, Marvin Agustin and Jericho Rosales who reportedly speak in English even though they were asked in Tagalog.
It was said that the Kapamilya comedian seemed to be following the act of the aforementioned actors.
The article also said that Vice Ganda almost achieved the uniqueness compared to other stars. However, he became an English-speaking celebrity and a “humblebrag”.

The definition of “humblebrag” was even emphasized.
According to the definition of Merriam-Webster dictionary, it means:
“To make a seemingly modest, self-critical, or casual statement or reference that is meant to draw attention to one’s admirable or impressive qualities or achievements”

With this, the question arises if Vice Ganda is really a humble person or he is just trying to look like one.
Is he really faking his humility? Is it really true that Vice is just saying self-deprecating statement but his real intention is to draw the attention of people to him?
