Cristy Fermin Feels Sorry for Sharon Cuneta Over Postings of Daughter Kakie
Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin feels sorry for Sharon Cuneta over criticisms due to the postings of her daughter Kakie Pangilinan.
“Showbiz Now Na!” most recent episode, the journalist couldn’t help but ‘feel sorry’ for Megastar because of the backlash she’s had from her daughter Frankie Pangilinan’s social media posts.
They talked about the snapshot of Frankie taken when she voted in the May 9, 2022 elections. Frankie was seen with permanent ink on her middle finger, which drew the attention of numerous internet users.
“Kahit saan naman ilagay… Pero dipende sa magiging interpretasyon ng mga kababayan natin. Kasi mahahaluan ng ibang kulay yun… Kasi pag dito sa middle finger, masama po ang konotasyon nito.” said Fermin.
Cristy expressed sympathy for Sharon, claiming that she believes netizens’ criticism of Frankie mainly impacts her. However, after all, Kakie is her daughter, but Sharon will undoubtedly be offended by what our compatriots have to say.
“Nakakalungkot. Ako, nalulungkot para kay Sharon Cuneta. Dahil marami siyang kakaining salita na binitiwan nuon tungkol kay Kakie. Tapos ito pala yung pinagmamalaki niyang anak. Pero siyempre magagalit si Sharon sa mga sinasabi ng ating mga kababayan,” said by seasoned columnist.
“Ito po ay itinatawid namin sainyo mula po sa mga nadidinig, napapanuod namin. Hindi po namin isang daan porsiyento na pinaniniwalaan pero kami po yung tulay para maipaabot kay Sharon at kay Sen. Kiko kung ano ang reklamo ng ating mga kababayan sa kanilang anak…” she added.
She also expressed sympathy for Sharon, not only because of Kakie but also because her countrymen are furious with her for what they did. Sharon’s daughter was the one who brought her pain as well. But, she explained, that she always has a cause and rationale for saving her daughter.
Frankie had already stated that she did not accept the election results. In an interview, she stated that her president will be named Marcos once more.
