Tayaba had asked that Duterte accompany her to her graduation because her mother works as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). Duterte honored her word and became Tayaba’s temporary mother.

The medal was hung on the student by the next vice president. Meanwhile, Rona San Miguel, the honored student’s mother, was thrilled by the next vice president’s deeds.

On June 30, at noon, VP-Elect Duterte would assume the office of Vice President. She will take over as Vice President. Leni Robredo has accomplished a great deal during her time as the country’s vice president.

There are still no details on when Duterte-Carpio and Robredo will meet, but the latter guaranteed that the whole OVP is preparing for her term’s end. VP Leni is now in New York for her youngest daughter Jillian’s graduation from New York University, where she was a scholar.
