The life of elected president Rodrigo Duterte will be featured on the country’s longest running drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).
On its official Facebook page, network giant ABS-CBN launches a poll of who among the Kapamilya stars, netizens would like to portray the life of soon-to-be proclaimed 16th president of the Republic of the Philippines.
There are big names that netizens suggested to play the life of the upcoming president but majority of them hinted veteran actor Efren Reyes Jr. who appears on top-rating series, “Tubig at Langis” who “suits” to portray the life of Duterte.
There is no official announcement regarding the exact date of the airing of the most awaited MMK episode starring the life of Rodrigo “Rody” Roa Duterte or Digong.
According to Pinoy Trending, the upcoming MMK episode will highlight the childhood of the presumptive president, the 1989 incident in Davao, and also his candidacy.
Duterte has dominated in the May 9, 2016 presidential election with more than 15 million votes. He ruled against his fellow candidates; administration party standard-bearer Mar Roxas, Sen. Grace Poe, Vice President Jejomar Binay and Se. Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
In the vice presidential race, Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo leads with 13,970,240 votes against Bongbong Marcos who earned 13,746,745 votes based upon the data of COMELEC-GMA Mirror Server as of 8:44 of May 12, 2016.
