Castle By Halsey Featuring New Americana
Ashley Nicolette Frangipane or popularly known as Halsey is a 21-year-old American singer and songwriter who was born in New Jersey. At an early age, she loves to play viola, violin, and cello until she learned to play acoustic guitar when she was fourteen.
Her career started when she posted several parodies of Taylor Swift’s “I Know You Were Trouble” on YouTube under her real name. She recorded a song titled, “Ghost” in 2014 and posted it on SoundCloud. She then gained attention and became popular.
On August 28, 2015, her debut album, Badlands was released.
Have you watched her performance at the MTV Movie Awards where she sang the song “Castle”? Following to it, Halsey released its music video featuring the “New Americana” singer wearing a shining gold dress and a crown.
The music video is specifically for The Huntsman: Winter’s War as its official soundtrack. The music video also offers sneak peeks which will be seen on April 22.
As seen in the video, this talks about heading straight for the castle as Charlize Theron, the queen in The Hunstman, as she looks on from a portal and defends her throne. Watch the video below.
