SHOWTIME HOSTS – The “It’s Showtime” hosts talked about show’s former host Kuya Kim Atienza on what they missed about him and their journey together.
The Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” has been airing for nearly 10 years already. They are celebrating the show’s anniversary every month of October and in every year, the show and its hosts never failed to give us the surprises and entertainment we never imagined they could possibly do.
Also it has always been a tradition for this show to have their “Magpasikat” every year where the hosts are divided into group and are going to give the audience and the people the “pasabog” performances.
Looking back, Showtime just started with main hosts such as Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Kuya Kim Atienza, until the resident judge Vice Ganda became a part of the family. And since then, their family got bigger and bigger. Former judges of the show in one of their segments Jhong Hilario and Ryan Bang joined them. Also, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Coleen Garcia, Eruption, Amy Perez, Mariel Rodriguez came in the family.
However, Billy, Coleen, Kuya Kim, and Eruption are no longer a part of the show due to their other priorities. And just recently, the hosts remembered their journey on their second year, the time when they have already established a strong bond and have treated each other as a family.
And that is when the talk about how they missed Kuya Kim, as initiated by Anne has started, and all his random trivia. They shared how naughty and funny Kuya Kim is when they are all together which is away from his serious aura on his other shows.
“Nakaka-miss si Kuya Kim. Nakaka-miss yung trivia… Yung trivia niyang nakakalimutan niya tapos tawang-tawa tayo… Iba yung sutil ni Kuya Kim dito sa Showtime. Yung hindi nakikita sa ibang shows niya kasi di ba ang dami naman niyang programa,” Vice Ganda has said in the video.
