Epitome of Simplicity – Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte, the third son of the newly elected President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, became a social media phenomenon after being deemed as a very simple man despite the surname he bears.
It is an undeniable fact that the immediate family of every elected president has to cope up with changes that mostly tend to change their lifestyle and how they appear to the public. But to the Dutertes, it is not that way.
The public have loved the Dutertes for being the people that they are truly are – the President for being the straightforward man that others tend to misinterpret and Baste or Sebastian for being the simplest presidential son who goes out in slipper wear to talk to ordinary people.
Recently, photos uploaded by Trending Pinas in Facebook made the netizens wow over the presidential son as he bears simplicity in his ways.
The 28-year-old man talks to the ordinary people with no hesitation though he was only wearing slippers and in shorts and simple shirt – truly the President’s son as the simplicity he bears is one thing that his father is also noted of.
Some netizens have also aired out their view on the said trending pictures in social media and have expressed their admiration to the simple presidential son.
Jed Jed Emata commented that Baste is just simple unlike others who were acting like a president’s son though they are just sons of mayors.
Ronald Banez said that Baste is the real Filipino.
Another netizens, Nene Mane and Karen Mendoza Torres, also commended the presidential son for his good looks.
