Every woman has monthly regular periods or menstrual cycle. Some have regular cycles some are irregular.
The normal regular period can be 22 days to 36 days long; while the ideal cycle is 28 days it is hard for anyone to have a regular cycle.
Having an irregular are showing these signs of prolonged period, gaps, or even miss it. Irregular periods can be a cause of being underweight, overweight, dietary deficiency, and stress. Even taking birth control pills, pre-menopause, and hormonal imbalance can be a factor.
When a menstrual cycle stopped, isn’t a disease it only shows that your body is under hormonal imbalance. Insufficient daily nutrition cannot sustain the normal functions of your body that causes irregular periods. Absence of menstrual cycle in your period can be a sign of menopause, hyperthyroidism, and premature ovarian failure.
Irregular, prolonged or missed periods can be a result of weight gain, gynecological issues, thyroid related issues and contraceptive pills. Stress also is a big factor rise of stress level can temporarily stop your period it is called secondary amenorrhea.
