DILG To Investigate Indecent Acts Of Cavite Officers During Zoom Meeting
DILG TO INVESTIGATE CAVITE OFFICERS – Recently, two Cavite officers went viral after being caught doing “extremely” intimate acts in the middle of a zoom meeting.
Following the viral incident, the Captain of the village stepped down from office. However, the Department of the Interior and Local Government said they would still investigate the possible charges that could be filed against them.
According to an article from ABS-CBN, DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said:
Papaimbestigahan sa regional offices kung ano ang possible violations nito dahil this is a conduct unbecoming of a public official..
This is very unfortunate dahil nga po napanood nung mga ka-barangay ‘yung nangyari at the same time nangyari pa sa loob ng barangay hall
Based on a report from Philnews, Jorge Magno, the president of the Association of Barangay Captains said that the treasurer also filed her resignation. Magno said that the chairman apologized due to the incident.

Meanwhile, Malaya state that the chairman didn’t know that the phone was being used for the Zoom meeting instead of the laptop. Unfortunately for them, they were caught right in the middle of the act. Furthermore, he said that it the incident looked like it was an accident.
