The resignation of Aiza Seguerra as the chairperson of National Youth Commission sparked many speculations.
It was a revelation unexpected of him to do as he was an active supporter of the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte way back on the 2016 presidential election.
In a previous report which source came from an article published in Rappler, it was said that allegedly the reason of Seguerra on resigning is the “bureaucracy and was frustrated with its slow pace.”
On the other hand, the outgoing NYC chief revealed on his recent Instagram post that he already talked to the President regarding his resignation and Duterte knows the reason behind it.
He was also happy to reveal that he got the support of the Philippines’ Chief Executive regarding his decision, based on a previous article.
Although the singer turned public official did not reveal the real reason of his decision in resigning as the head of the said government agency, many still associate it to politics.
With this regard, the partner of Aiza Seguerra, Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Chair Liza Diño, said something about it.
In an article recently published in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the FDCP head plead to the public that the resignation of Seguerra should not be perceived as something which is connected to politics, based on the article.
It can be recalled that the couple, showed fervent support for President Duterte during his campaign and on August of 2016, Seguerra was appointed as the NYC chairperson.
Diño, on the other hand, was appointed as the FDCP chairperson.
After a year and half of being a public servant, Aiza Seguerra decided to let go of his position in the Philippine government.
