Celebrities reacted to the use of children in anti-Duterte ad.
Several celebrities have condemned the use of children in the controversial political against the presidential front runner Rodrigo Duterte. The “anti-Duterte” ad was aired on country’s biggest TV Networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7.

In the political ad, children were seen reacting to Duterte’s controversial statement, including his cursing at Pope Francis, using of expletives and his viral remark about the Australian woman.
Action star Robin Padilla took the Instagram and said that children should not be used in black propaganda.

“Children should not be used in black propaganda, no matter what the situation is. Republic Act No. 7610 June 17, 1992,” he wrote in the caption of photo.
Oyo Boy Sotto posted also the same photo which Padilla posted on his account. The statement in the photo reads: “Bantay Bata, MTRCB Bakit niyo kami hinayaan gamitin sa pamumulitika?”
“Tubig at Langis” actress Vivian Velez took also her Facebook account to express her anger on the controversial ad. She described the ad as “sickening.”
Meanwhile, the ABS-CBN News Anchor Karen Davila has also reacted to the advertisement. On Thursday, she simply tweeted: “To use children.” However, she has already deleted the post.
The political has already a lot of negative reactions from the Philippines with some people asking the Movie And Television Review And Classification Board (MTRCB) to take action on it.
On its official Twitter account, MTRCB said that the Commission on Election (Comelec) has the jurisdiction to regulate political advertisements.
MTRCB informs the gen public that it is the COMELEC w/c has sole jurisdiction to regulate political TV ads under the Fair Elections Act.

It is said that the advertisement against Duterte was produced and paid for by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, who accused the Mayor of having ill-gotten wealth.
