President Rodrigo Duterte addresses businessmen on what he will do in case they won’t adhere to ending contractualization.
DUTERTE ADDRESSES BUSINESSMEN – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte poses on what the businessmen have to face if they won’t adhere to the end of contractualization in their business.
One of the prime goals of the 71-year-old President is to end the contractualization scheme in the field of work in the country. This rooted in his desire for Filipino workers to have stable jobs as this contractualization system only allows them five months in service.
In a recent report in Phil Star Global, the President warned the businessmen who would go against the move to stop the contractualization.
Speaking to the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, President Duterte expressed his firmness on the move about ‘endo’.
The President is known for his striking jests and hyperbolic statements. And in another instance, he spoke exaggeratedly that he will end the life of those who won’t adhere to abolishing ‘endo’ in their business.
In the point of fact, he said, “I am warning you… I am the President. I am here. I have immunity”.
