“It’s Showtime” host Mariel Rodriguez said that she immediately rushed herself to the hospital after she felt pain on her abdomen area on Tuesday. The kapamilya star is currently pregnant.

Yesterday, the wife of acclaimed action star Robin Padilla, took the Facebook to narrate what happened.
According to Rodriguez, she decided to go to the hospital because she was feeling a pain that she has never felt before. She thought it could be “gas, UTI or worse contractions.”
Rodriguez said that it was just her baby’s movements that she is feeling that makes her abdomen painful.
“It was the baby’s movements I was feeling!!!! I was so paranoid maybe because people kept saying don’t travel bla bla, don’t eat this don’t drink that, too much negativity,” she said.
Rodriguez also hinted that she will be taking a break on the noontime show.
“Thank you to my showtime family for being so understanding and supportive,” she continued.
The 31-year-old host added that she was relieved when she heard her baby’s heartbeat. She also assured her fans and supporters that there is nothing to worry about.
