Major German news media N-TV has featured PDP-Laban standard bearer Davao City Mayor Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte’s anti-American and Australian sentiments.

The said news media, is one of the major news media in Germany who has caught the attention of the popular and leading presidential candidate of its future plans to severe the ties with the 2 big nations who are currently the allies of the Philippines; the United States and Australia. This burst out after US Ambassador to the Philippines Goldberg and Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Gorley criticized Duterte’s remarks about the rap3 case of the Australian missionary Jacqueline Hamill.

N-TV’s newscast states: “Der umstrittene philippinische Präsidentschaftskandidat Rodrigo Duterte erwägt für den Fall seines Sieges den Abbruch der diplomatischen Beziehungen zu den USA und Australien. Duterte forderte die Botschafter der beiden Länder bei einem Wahlkampfauftritt zugleich auf, “ihr Maul zu halten”. Er reagierte damit auf deren Kritik an seinen zynischen und frauenfeindlichen Äußerungen in der vergangenen Woche.
