Cow Arrested By Police After Allegedly Killing a Boy in South Sudan
Authorities arrested a cow after allegedly killing a 12-year-old boy who was reportedly walking in South Sudan, Africa.
The cow was reportedly strolling through a field when it abruptly attacked the child, according to the report. Unfortunately, the boy perished. The youngster was taken to the hospital for a post-mortem examination before being returned home to be buried.
The tragedy occurred in the state of Lakes. The cow is now being held at a police station in Rumbek Central County, according to the authorities. The cow’s owner was also apprehended.
A ram killed a 45-year-old lady in South Sudan just a few weeks ago. Adhieu Chaping was repeatedly pounded in the ribs by the ram throughout the violent attack, eventually succumbing to her injuries.
The ram was arrested and placed into custody at a Maleng Agok Payam Police Station. The ram was condemned to three years in a military camp, where he will be forced to work extremely hard.
Speaking at the time of the ram’s arrest, Mr Mabor had explained: “The owner is innocent [but] the ram is the one who perpetrated the crime so it deserves to be arrested.”
The ram is likely to be given to Ms Chaping’s family once it is liberated, in accordance with local rules and traditions. A local court also ordered the ram’s owner, Duony Manyang Dhal, to forfeit five cows to the victim’s family.
