Mayor Duterte: “Don’t Vote For Me or You Will Go To hell”
Tough-taking and the most controversial Presidential candidate Mayor Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte once again made a loud statement over Catholic Bishop’s Conference disapproval of his candidacy.
Last Tuesday, April 18, Presidential candidate warned every catholic voters during his campaign forum at the University of the Philippines, Iloilo stating, “To all Roman Catholics, listen to your bishop. Don’t vote for me or you will go to hell”
Duterte said it the day after CPCP’s head and president Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socates Villegas posted a Facebook video about Duterte making a comment about the case of Jacqueline Hammil, an Australian missionary who was rap3d and murd3red in a hostage taking in Davao City prison, 1989.

The video published has a caption, “Judge for yourself if this is the right choice. I will keep my personal judgment to myself. This video can help…”
Villegas also denounced Duterte for his platform of eliminating criminals by ki||ing them because it is against the teaching of the Bible.
Archbishop Socrates Villegas warned the Catholic believers that whatever the motif is, ki||ing is still a crime, it is a sin, whether a criminal or an authority commits it.
Villegas also brought up the issue of Duterte’s admission of being a womanizer, saying that it is a sin.
PDP-Laban standard bearer Davao City Mayor Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte is still on the hot seat, with regards to his statement about the Davao controversy. Duterte also insisted that his statement was made in “utter anger” over the aforementioned case.
