Based upon the comments generated by ABS-CBN News, netizens lambasted the network giants upon airing the ad that features children reacting to the controversial remarks of the tough-talking Davao City mayor, including his controversial remark to an Australian missionary and “cursing” at Pope Francis.

Despite the controversial ad, solid Duterte supporters said that they won’t change their minds upon supporting the PDP-Laban standard-bearer in the May 9, 2016 elections.

Leading network, ABS-CBN, has released a statement over the airing of the Trillanes-sponsored ad which worth a whopping 20 million stating that it was “duty-bound to air a legitimate ad”.

The ad was reportedly aired on ABS-CBN rival networks, GMA-7 and TV5. But in a statement released by Kapatid Network, it denies airing the controversial ad.
