Roxas to Dutere: “You Can’t Hide From The Truth”
Yesterday, Liberal Party Standard-bearer Mar Roxas II accused close Presidential Rival PDP-Laban Standard-bearer Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of using “legal maneuvering” to hide the truth behind his bank accounts which are widely tackled.
During a press briefing at the Liberal Party headquarters in Quezon, Mar Roxas said in a press, “You can run, Mayor Duterte, but you cannot hide from the truth. You can use all the legal maneuverings to sidestep the issue but the truth will come out. The Filipino nation will not go for a liar and a thief.”
He even added that Mayor Duterte is obviously have something to hide.
Roxas also reminded that Duterte was once challenged to sign a waiver on their bank accounts to prove their sincerity in the fight against corruption which is their top priority to be solved in this country.
Roxas also said when asked about Duterte’s bank account as a game changer for this upcoming election, “His insults to women, his foul language, his curse at the Pope may be downplayed but corruption is a big issue to Filipinos.”

Roxas was also overwhelmed with his rise in the latest surveys, adding that he will need to do a little bit of tumbling to overtake his close rivals and win the presidency.
He said during a rally at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center gym in Lingayen that he and his running mate Vice presidential bid Lene Robrido started with almost zero chance of winning, but little by little, with their supporters, they are now tied for second place.
He added that Lene started with 1 percent to 3% 7% and the latest survey revealed she was second among other vice presidential candidates.
