‘We did everything we could,’ says optimistic Roxas.
Optimistic Roxas. Back in his hometown to cast his vote, Monday, administration standard bearer Mar Roxas said he did everything her could during the 90-day presidential campaign adding that he feels “very serene and very optimistic.”
Roxas is a registered voted in Capiz.
“I’m very optimistic, at tahimik ang kalooban ko, payapa ang kalooban ko. Alam ko pong ginawa natin ang lahat,” Roxas told reporters after he casted his vote in polling precinct.
Roxas claimed that they ran the campaign clean and straight presenting his platforms and programs and that the deserving will win the in the elections.
In the last survey before the Monday election, Roxas came out to be stastitically tied with independent runner Sen. Grace Poe but still behind Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
But Roxas’ confidence is still affirmative. He also shrugged off the issues that the administration is ensuring his victory through cheating.
Earlier, report broke out that some official ballots have pink lines which were supposedly dedicated for Roxas to which the Commission on Elections instantly denied the existence of such ballots.
Earlier, President Benigno Aquino III earlier urged Roxas’ opponents to work as one to ensure the win of Tuwid na Daan.
However, Sen. Grace Poe shrugged it off saying no one is sure that her votes will still go to Roxas and that she is confident of her people’s supports.
Meanwhile, Comelec earlier launched a public website where people could see the standing of the votes after the voting period.
