UMID CARD FEE – Here is a guide on how much you should prepare in applying for a Unified Multi-Purpose Identification Card.
One of the Philippine valid IDs now is the Multi-Purpose Identification Card or more commonly called as UMID card.
The UMID card is a combined card of the Social Security System (SSS), the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), and the Pag-IBIG Fund / Home Development Mutual Fund.
With regards to the UMID Card requirements, the list of the required documents and steps for the members of the GSIS and the SSS may differ.
Members of the SSS should apply for the said identification card at the nearest SSS office while members of the GSIS should make their application at any GSIS office as well.
Those individuals with membership in both, you must apply to the government insurance institution where your current employment is under.
With regards to the UMID Card Fee, a payment of Php 200.00 only applies to those who have already obtained the card and lost it. The said replacement fee was previously at Php 300.00 but was reduced.
The same payment also applies to corrections on the card information, change of certain information like home address, or change of authenticating finger or specimen and signature.
