India Banned Daytime Cooking Because Of Heatstroke

India – parts of the country were banned to cook during days because of the alarming heat that rises due to the weather.

In Partna, India, 300 people passed away because of the sizzling heat this month.

Officials encouraged to stop people from cooking in daytime to prevent possible casualties in the near future, reports say.

This is also to prevent possible accid3nts such as fires that cost almost 80 lives.

Instead, people are encouraged to cook at night.

In the hope of preventing fires in the future, authorities also ban burning crops of religious fire rituals.

The eastern state of Bihar forbade the cooking from 9am to 6pm, after having accidental fire caused by dry and hot weather.

The casualties involved five adults and 10 children in the said incident.

With the given reason, it was strongly forced for people to cook in the night instead.

Vyas, state disaster management official said, “we call this the fire season in Bihar.” “Strong westerly winds stroke fires which spread easily and cause great damage.”

Most parts of India is experiencing a week-long heat wave that brought them severe conditions, including shortage of water source and very poor livestock.

Dams, lakes, and rivers have already dried up in western parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat, leaving them roughly 22 per cent water level.

Almost 300 people have d1ed due to heat stroke and over-exposure of the sun this month.

Having around 44 degrees Celsius (111 Fahrenheit), which above the very normal level recorded this April.

According to Y.K Reddy, state meteorological official, the situation will most likely to get worse in the next month – since it is the hottest month of the country, traditionally.

All media officials, leaders and authorities are doing as much as they can to warn their people to stay indoors, or having minimal exposure outdoors, because of the heat wave.

Rescue teams are also readily available in times of unwanted incidents.
