Chuvaness.com blogger Cecile Zamora van Straten posted a very sensitive tweet last Wednesday night May 4, 2016, six days before the election that gains a lot of attention to the netizens with regards to an “Anti-Duterte spots to be aired for one night only by ABS-CBN.”

Blogger Cecile Zamora van Straten’s tweet caught the attention of Facebook page Inday Sara Duterte. The page screen captured it and just an hour after posting it, the photo gained more than three thousand shares and two thousand nine hundred likes and still counting.

Until now, though it is not yet confirmed, the post is now creating rage of hates against the network giant ABS-CBN.

Meanwhile, with so much controversy about ABS-CBN “bias” reporting, the Giant Network released their official statement with regards to the issue they are facing:

“The controversial political advertisement being talked about in social media, which aired on ABS-CBN, was produced and paid for by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV. Prior to the airing, ABS-CBN’s ethics committee reviewed the content of the material, which complies with the requirements of pertinent election laws.”

“By airing the said commercial, ABS-CBN is being consistent with COMELEC guidelines, which prohibit radio or television stations to discriminate in the sale of air time against any political party or candidate. We are duty bound to air a legitimate ad.”

According to some reports, the anti-Duterte commercial was simultaneously seen airing on 3 network giants in the Philippines namely; ABS-CBN, GMA-7 and TV5.
