Based on the article from Web MD, there were men who start balding at the age of 21. However, myths such as wearing a baseball cap, running fingers through your hair, combing, brushing, twisting, or styling will make you bald. Just be careful not to break the strands by being gentle to your hair.
Possible causes:

Here are the things you should do to address your hair loss problem:
- Quit smoking because it can lead to balding.
- Shampoos, conditioners, and styling products may add volume to what you do have. Just do a style that makes hair loss unnoticeable.
- Minoxidil is an FDA-approved, over-the-counter treatment you apply to your scalp which can slow down the balding.
- Finasteride is a prescription pill slows down your body’s DHT assembly line, like minoxidil, it works only while you’re using it.
- Wearing hairpiece can be an option, however, you need to spend $60 (Php3,000) and $300 (Php15,000) per month for its maintenance. Just try to match your own hair color, thickness, and curl.
- Hair transplant can also be a solution for you. “A doctor will move healthy hair from the back and side of your head to the top. The process can be costly, and you may need to do it a few times before it works”, according to Web MD.
