Camp of Binay Laughs at Mocha Uson Appeal to Comelec Regarding His Health
The camp of senatorial aspirant Jejomar Binay just laughed at the appeal of Mocha Uson to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) regarding his health.
The former Vice President’s camp called the appeal of Mothers for Change (MOCHA) first nominee laughable, pathetic, and desperate. According to the statement, it is sad that there are individuals who seek to smear the name of Vice President Binay, whose record of devotion to our countrymen is unmistakable.
Binay was no longer in good health and was suffering from dementia, according to Uson. This is thought to be the basis for Binay’s frequent absence from political campaigns.
However, Binay’s spokesperson, Joey Salgado, stated that Binay has been busy with his campaigns since the beginning of the campaign period and that he does not attend presidential candidate campaign rallies because it is what was agreed upon as the former vice president’s guest senatorial candidate.
He also suggested that Uson go to Binay’s Facebook page to see what he is up to in the campaign.
“This so-called petition is laughable, pathetic, and desperate. Nakakalungkot lang na merong mga gustong siraan ang pangalan ni VP Binay, na malinaw ang track record ng paglilingkod sa ating mga kababayan, dahil pasok siya sa Magic 12 sa senatorial race at sinusuportahan siya ng Iglesia Ni Cristo, kilalang political leaders at local officials, at ng marami nating kababayan,” Salgado said.
