But before winning the crown, if she will make it to the top 5, Catriona Gray will have to answer questions that could make or break her.
In line with this nerve-wracking portion in the pageant, the Filipina beauty queen shared how she prepared for it.
Based on the article published in PEP, Catriona said that her preparation before going to Thailand, where the pageant is being held, was not that intense anymore.
It was just sort of reviewing the topics.
“Now it’s just polishing. Polishing really consists of reviewing topics because I can talk until the cows come home… I really can,” she said while laughing.
For her, the only thing will be difficult for her is the time allotted to answer the question.
“My struggle is to get out what you have to say in thirty seconds. What if it’s a question that needs a lot of explanation, a lot of opinions to justify it, or what if you have to balance opinions? I need to have an idea of what I’m going to say, and that only comes with me knowing the topic, so I have to review the topics,” she shared.
She added that breathing is very vital and it is needed to have a proper projection that will reflect the confidence in answering.
“When it comes to the content, you have to end strong on every answer which is hard,” she also said.
For Catriona Gray, body language also plays an important role in delivering the answer, based on the report.
“You can use gestures but “you don’t want to look distracting. It’s a performance as well as a Q&A. It is very, very difficult,” she shared.
