Friends of Chokoleit did primetime comedy show at his funeral
Vice Ganda, K Brosas, Pooh, and Pokwang, the closest friends of the late comedian Chokoleit, did a primetime comedy show at his funeral.
Chokie bid his final goodbye to his loved ones and fans after he did his last performance in Abra last March 9.
His attending doctor stated that the cause of his death was pulmonary edema and heart attack.
Following this sad news, sympathy and condolences rained.
During the last night of his funeral in Antipolo City, Chokoleit’s closest friends in the showbiz industry did a different kind of eulogy.
The four comedy bar veterans did a sort of comedy show.
Vice, Pokwang, K, and Pooh recalled the fondest memories they had with Chokie.
They shared how they met the late comedian and the most funny thing they experienced with him.
Vice said that he requested that the four of them will just join together because it will be hard for them to speak individually.

Other showbiz personalities who were also there were Johnny Manahan, Beverly Salviejo, Nikki Valdez, Ryan Bang, Candy Pangilinan, Jhong Hilario, Jed Madela, Mosang, John “Sweet” Lapus, Ogie Diaz, Direk Ruel S. Bayani, Roxy Liquigan, Mico del Rosario, Vivoree Esclito, Kisses Delavin, Gladys Guevarra, Teri Onor, Divine Tetay, Clarisse de Guzman, Bernard Cloma, and Angelica Panganiban.
On Friday afternoon, the remains of Chokoleit was brought to his hometown Davao City. The cremation will happen on March 17 and the remains will be brought back to his home at Town and Country Homes in Cainta, Rizal, based on the article.
