Inconsistencies and Conflicting Testimonies of Ronnie Dayan and Kerwin Espinosa.
Lawmakers called out Ronnie Dayan for the inconsistencies in his testimony which contradicted that of confessed drug lord Kerwin Espinosa.
The testimony of the self-confessed lover of Sen. Leila de Lima, Ronnie Dayan, doesn’t match with the testimonies of alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa.
Lawmakers seen punched holes into the conflicting stories of Dayan and Espinosa, as well as with other witnesses in the investigations of the illegal drug trade in the national penitentiary.
According to a report of Inquirer.net, the South Cotabato Rep. Ferdinand Hernandez cited inconsistencies in the testimony of Dayan.
During the House committee hearing on drug trafficking at New Bilibid Prison, Dayan claimed to have met Espinosa for the pay-offs to de Lima five times. But in Espinosa’s testimony to the Senate the previous day, he only met Dayan four times.
Dayan also maintained that he did not know of Espinosa’s drug links despite receiving large sums of money from him, supposedly on De Lima’s orders.
