Cristy Fermin Revealed Ogie Diaz is Not Paid to Host Leni Robredo Rally
Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin defends talent manager Ogie Diaz against claims that he is being paid to host Leni Robredo’s campaign rally.
Cristy defended the talent manager in a column published in the Abante newspaper that he was paid to campaign for the presidential candidate and current vice president of the Philippines. Cristy claimed she knew the truth about Ogie’s Robredo campaign, which was that it was not paid.
She further mentioned that Ogie rallies with his partner Mama Loi without being compensated, despite the talent manager’s hectic schedule. He even paid for his own tickets to the campaign rallies and hosted them.
Cristy, on the other hand, only knows of Ogie’s story and has no idea about the other musicians who have been engaged to perform at campaign rallies, whether or not they are paid. Because artists appear at every campaign rally, the accusation of being paid is a popular topic in the political camp.
Previously, the talent manager denied an allegation that celebrities are paid P1 million to show their support for the presidential candidate. He is also a vociferous supporter of his presidential candidate, as a comedian-talent manager.
