Daniel Matsunaga confirmed he is one of the participants in the upcoming Avon’s Pink Light Night Run & Walk 2019 set on October 19. As the night sky will turn into pink lights during the event.
This event will be Avon’s “first-ever” pink light night run together with Color Manila as their official partner. Color Manila will ensure that the roads will be properly lit with pink lights as pink represents hope.
“It may look funny we’re talking about a run and I have a broken toe right now (from playing football),” Daniel Matsunaga addresses his all-female audience while shambling his way to the stage. Despite his broken toe and all, Matsunaga will still run in any weather conditions.
“I’m joining this run not because I’m an Avon endorser. It’s really because I want to support all the ladies. I love the women in my life — my mother, my sister, my jowa (Polish girlfriend Karolina Pisarek). They’re very, very important to me,” Matsunaga declared.
Not only women can develop breast cancer, but men can also develop one even though this rarely happens.
“I was surprised to find out that men can get breast cancer, too. Is it one in a thousand? I didn’t know that breast cancer could happen to me, too,” he added.
Matsunaga described the run as “just 3k, 5k, 10k”. You can also walk if you want to.
“We really want to encourage everyone to join us in this run,” Matsunaga concluded.
If you have plans to join the said run, you can start marking your calendar with pink ink on October 19.
