On Tuesday, 1Z Entertainment, the music label founded by the boy band, issued an apology for the sudden cancellation of their concert. 1Z announced that refunds for ticket purchases will be handled by Black Star Entertainment Production, while the group’s label will manage all refunds for merchandise purchases.
Aside from Dubai, SB19 also canceled the Singapore and Bangkok legs of their “PAGTATAG! World Tour.” There is no official statement yet regarding the next destination of the tour on December 9 in Japan.
SB19 took a significant step in its career when it launched 1Z in October, deciding to manage itself earlier this year.
In steering their career, SB19 strengthened their resolve to be more independent in managing their path. Their support for their record label demonstrates their confidence in themselves and their ability to lead their destination in the music industry.
However, despite their successful strides, they have not been immune to challenges and changes. The cancellation of the Dubai concert and other parts of their world tour highlights unexpected events that could affect their career and relationship with their fans.
Despite this, the assurance from 1Z Entertainment that the refund processes for their supporters will be followed demonstrates their dedication to their fanbase and the principles of professionalism.
Over time, we may witness how SB19 faces the challenges of the industry and how it utilizes its freedom in management to sustain its success.
