Philippine Rehabilitation Centers Current Situation
Due to President Duterte’s war on drugs, drug users surrender themselves to the authority, but most of them need the assistance of rehabilitation centers.
Kaya Rehab Asia at Baguio City is a private rehabilitation center designed for alcohol and illegal drug addiction. The rehab center has a monthly rate of P169, 999/monthly for twin sharing while P218, 000/monthly for a private suit.
The ordinary days in the center starts with a ‘yoga’ exercise. The center offers a buffet kind of meal, artwork, therapy, massage, and a one on one session with an in-house psychologist and counselors.
The center has some famous and high-class patients but there are also ordinary people who sold their properties or borrowed money just to avail the services and medications offered by the rehab.
Robert Labos of Kaya Rehab Asia said that they made their patient invest a big amount of finances in the center for them to value it until they are fully recovered from drug addiction.
