AG600: World’s Largest Amphibious Aircraft
China has already completed the production of the world’s largest amphibious aircraft as unveiled by its maker, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) last July 23 in the Southern port city of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China.
In a report by Xinhua, AVIC deputy general manager Geng Ruguang have described that the AG600 was about the size of a Boeing 737. Currently, it is the world’s largest amphibian aircraft – larger than any other aircraft built for marine takeoff and landing.
