Depression is a serious thing. Let’s take it seriously.
HAVING DEPRESSION means having a lot of negative perceptions of life. This needs attention as it could lead to a worst-case scenario if not treated immediately.
Depression is a mental disorder that makes you feel like you have no friends to accompany. It’s like living in an isolated place with no one else around. Let’s identify these signs that you think you already experienced.
Change in sleeping hours
From insomnia to oversleeping to sleep elusiveness, you may be experiencing a sudden change of sleeping hours.
Loss of energy
From feeling tired to physically drained. You are already starting to feel heavy that you can’t finish even on simple tasks.
Self-loathing
Self-loathing may also define as self-hating. You began hating yourself, starting to think that you’re worthless, and you may criticize yourself if you made a mistake.
Loss of interest
From an enthusiastic person to a not-interested-at-all kind of person. He (or she) may already lose his (or her) ability to be happy. He (or she) doesn’t care about his (or her) hobbies and social activities.
Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness
From being hopeful to beeing hopeless, and from being helpful to being helpless. You may think that you have nothing to do in order for you to improve your self.
If you see someone who is being trapped, starts to talk on killing his (or her) own self, has an unusual preoccupation with death, acts recklessly, saying goodbye to other people, and says “Everyone will feel happy without me”, that person is very depressed and has a chance to commit suicide.
According to Harvard Health Publishing, “early losses and emotional trauma may leave individuals more vulnerable to depression later in life“.
If you know someone, you just need to save him (or her) away from depression.
