Most of the employees of the government in the Philippines are members of the Government Service Insurance System. Commonly called as GSIS, this insurance institution offers identification card to its members called eCard.
The GSIS eCard is apart from the GSIS UMID Card or the Unified Multi-Purpose Identification card. Pensioners who wanted to avail their benefits should apply for the eCard according to the institution.

Step 1
Prepare two(2) valid IDs and bring them with you to the nearest GSIS office.
Step 2
Ask for an enrollment form for eCard and provide the necessary information to the form. Indicate your preferred servicing bank (UnionBank or Landbank) in the form.
Step 3
Submit the duly-accomplished eCard enrollment form to a staff of GSIS and have it checked.
